Chevrolet video morphs 2014 Impala from ‘65.
Add a little black-out paint to a ‘71 Chevrolet Chevelle and you have a ‘72 model. Other GM intermediates followed suit for a one-year extension of their 1970—71 bodies and sheet metal. The unexpected facelifts were thanks to the 1971 UAW labor strike which delayed the dubiously styled ’73s for a full year.
The handsome ‘72 Chevelle-line improved on its predecessors and was the last great looking Chevelle or Malibu of the 20th Century.
